 Took this photo from a condo I was staying in along the Alabama Gulf Coast several years ago. The condo pool remains lit, as the sun begins to rise over the nearby Gulf waters.

Remember What was Underneath The WERC Studios?

     Folks who remember the 2nd Floor WERC Studios in Downtown Birmingham may recognize the critical piece of paper over my right shoulder. 
     It's a menu for the Pasquale's Pizza place on the first floor of the building.

 The building was long ago torn down to make room for parking, the orange walls still visible as the wrecking ball did its job.

I'm 19 in this Vietnam photo, but look even younger. The slight mustache I was trying to grow won an award from my peers as the worst attempt at growing one.
