I was not much older than this when I started to be interested in cameras. This is about 1954...in the backyard of the house my parent bought in Queens, New York.
My dad was the camera guy, and he even shot 8mm home movies. As a result we have lots of photos of our family, more actually of my older brother and sister. By the time I came along, I think they were over the parental phase of oh-how-cute.
Today's kids will have entire archive rooms of photos, thanks to digital photography and cell phones.
I'm launching this site to replace a Tumblr that was just too awkward to manage. I'll write some here, as it pertains to my activities in photography. Stay tuned.
